How HoustonCraneRentalQuotes.com handles the information you send us. Last updated October 6, 2026.
- In brief
-
HoustonCraneRentalQuotes.com is a request service for crane rental work in the Houston area, not a contractor. When you send a request, the details come to us, and if we find a crane rental company working near the property, we share them with that company. Whenever you want the contact to end, one email to us does it. The rest of this page fills in the specifics.
- What we receive
-
Through the request form, you give us:
- Your name, phone number, and email
- The city or town and ZIP code of the property
- Project details: the kind of job you pick and any notes you add
- Any notes you add in the form
- Your agreement to be contacted
The form also records a few details automatically: the page you submitted it from, the site that referred you to us, any campaign tags in the link you arrived on (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), and the time you pressed send.
If you later reply to our emails, we also get whatever you include, such as photos or notes about the job. Please keep sensitive data such as government ID numbers, financial account information, and medical details out of your messages; the service has no use for it.
HoustonCraneRentalQuotes.com uses Google Analytics 4, a measurement tool from Google, to understand how the site gets used: which pages people read, how they arrived (a search, a link, or an ad campaign), the general type of device and browser, and whether a request was sent. It relies on cookies and records technical details such as IP address, pages viewed, and campaign tags. The details you enter in the request form are never passed to Google Analytics. Google's own privacy terms (policies.google.com/privacy) govern its handling of that data. You can refuse analytics cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out extension (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
Like any website, our hosting provider may record basic technical data about visits (IP addresses, browser details, requested pages) to keep things running and secure. The request form is handled by Netlify Forms: submissions go to our hosting provider, Netlify, which stores them for us, may filter them for spam, and treats them under its own privacy terms. To keep campaign tags attached to your request as you move between pages, a short script keeps them in the tab's sessionStorage, which is wiped when you close the tab. That script itself uses no cookies.
- What we do with it
-
- Read your request and get back to you about it
- Look for a crane rental company operating in your city or town and, if we find one, send your request to it
- See which areas and project types are in demand, so we can improve the site
- Keep ordinary business records and satisfy any legal requirements
- Who else sees it
-
Contractors. If we connect you with an independent crane rental company that serves your area, your request goes to that company so it can get in touch regarding the work. The service is free for property owners. The one contractor that receives a request may pay us for it. That is how the site stays free.
Vendors who help us operate. For example, the tools we use to receive form responses (Netlify Forms), store them in spreadsheets, send email, and possibly manage customer records in the future. They're permitted to handle your details only to do that work for us.
Google Analytics. Google processes the site-usage data described above for us. It doesn't receive your name, contact details, or project description.
When the law says so. We may disclose information if legally required, or to protect people, property, or our rights.
Your details aren't put up for sale as a mailing list. That said, certain state laws treat paid referral arrangements as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal data. Where such a law applies to you, the options under "Your choices" apply as well.
- Phone and text contact
-
Ticking the consent box and giving us a phone number lets us, and the one contractor we connect you with, call or text about your crane rental project. Standard carrier fees for calls and texts are your responsibility. Where we text you, replying STOP ends texts from us; an email to us ends every kind of contact from our side.
- Keeping and protecting it
-
Requests stay on file while they serve a purpose: follow-up, connecting you with a contractor, handling any disagreement, and normal record-keeping. After that, we erase them or strip out identifying details where we reasonably can.
Only people who need request data can get to it, and the accounts that hold it are protected with sensible precautions. Even so, nothing sent or stored online is risk-free.
- Your choices
-
Write to quotes@houstoncranerentalquotes.com and we'll help you:
- See the information tied to your request
- Correct anything that's inaccurate
- End contact from us
- Erase your information where we practically can, keeping only what a legal obligation or unresolved dispute makes necessary
Depending on where you live, including California, you may hold additional legal rights over your data, such as opting out of sales or sharing. Use the subject "Privacy request" so your note gets handled promptly, and we'll respond in line with the law that applies to you. Using these rights won't change how we treat you.
Any contractor we connect you with is a separate business with its own privacy practices. If you'd like one of them to stop reaching out, tell that contractor as well as us.
- Kids

HoustonCraneRentalQuotes.com is for adults arranging work on a property. If we learn that a child under 13 has sent us information, we'll delete it.
